The twist

Days were going pretty much simple Ideation, concept sketching, painting on weekends and looking for street art, Pinterest, Artstation for inspiration and so on..., well only till that one fine day when I came across Makers Asylum in Andheri, Mumbai I went through their website from where I learned that it is a makers space where you can do DIY stuff and build your own projects using their tools and equipment paying a membership fee to them. What more cool stuff they have is that they conduct various workshops and month-long programs which I decided to be a part of, D.I.V.E 2019 a 30-day program having 7 teams of 5 to 6 members per team and we had to work on UN sustainable development goals.
> Select the UN (sustainable development goal)
> As a team arrive on a problem statement.
> Make a solution like a prototype/field testing/documentation.
> Finally launch your product if you want to as a crowdfunding campaign and the final pitch in front of all the jury and members of the Makers space.

Well the twist for me was not just this program where I did prototyping and prepared a crowdfunding campaign but my co-workers were students from management school in France and It was a lovely experience working with them in a team. JUST AWESOME! THEY WERE SMART AND COOL!

Dharavi field study for our Good health UN (SDG)goal.

Our prototype air filter(I know its not much savvy but we wanted it to be frugal).
  • Well moving ahead some sketching which hit my head during this program.

(watercolor painting- I was trying to create an anime painting but it still looks like a kids work got to work more on the details)

(a comic character from my imagination, I used watercolor)

Some animal practice sketching(I referred Pinterest for the practice).

  • Concept sketch work and ideation for my online portfolio:
